My Fantasy Storefront- Historic Anacostia

If I ruled the world, Anacostia would be lined with beautiful blue recylable trash cans and regular trash cans.

A gorgeous historic stone and marble fountain honoring the Nantoch Indians, John Smith and Frederick Douglass would greet the corner of Good Hope and MLK.

A yoga studio (with flavor) teaches classes and afterward we walk Vita’s Vegan Eatery would be it’s own sit-down establishment serve her amazing butternut squash with a heated roofted deck overlooking the river.

On the weekends, we could walk to pier and rent canoes and paddle along side the crew team.

Crossing the river to Southwest or Capitol Hill takes 5 minutes on a bike, car, bus or train because Metro stands by it’s word and transportation innovation is the call of executive order.
