Yoga Review: Stretching it Out @ STROGA

As the weather cools off, I like to warm it up. So I decided to hit the yoga studio dujour, STROGA. STROGA boasts of Master Teachers and yoga rooms that seat over 100 people.

I finally made a visit to STROGA (Strength and Yoga) after Faith Hunter made her quick leap from Shakti Mind Body Studio to STROGA last month. Faith rocked the house as always by adding some African drums to the mix. I was sad to lose her cozy yet intense energy at Shakti but excited to experience the open, sunlight-filled space at STROGA in Adams Morgan.

STROGA is an old high society mansion turned yoga gym with decorative ceilings, enormous windows and a little parlor for post downdog relxation.

I enjoyed STROGA because of the openness and you get the sense that among all those people it is just you. Never too close or too far away from the instructor or your fellow yogis.
