Can you be both tranquil and an activist? Tranquil Space Yoga owner Kimberly Wilson answered the question by asking us to “ponder our purpose” on Wednesday at The Darlington House in Dupont Circle.
In celebration of her new book “Tranquilologie“, Kim Wilson shared that she wanted her new book to inspire people to let go of conventions and follow their purpose. I really connected with her message because Kim shared that activism can be feminine, beautiful and spiritual.
I have always loved the soft atmosphere of the Tranquil Space Yoga Studio with French baroque chandeliers, bath salts and a classical setting to balance out the mood.
Tranquil Space Yoga also supports animal rescue efforts, vegan education and a women and girls initiative at Calvary Women’s Services based in Anacostia.
I support Kimberly Wilson because she is a woman who has followed her dreams without letting go of her civic duties. The Tranquil Space philosophy proves that yoga can be an experience that fits our own unique personalities yet still be true to its roots.
Kimberly Wilson will start her book and yoga tour in New York City. Check our her website and her new book, Tranquilologie.
