Vibin’ in the Virginia Vineyards

June 5, 2013

Dust off your sandals, break out the sun dress and gather your friends! DC Spring is finally in bloom!

Enjoying the beauty (and the taste) of the outdoors.

We all know that  DC-proper is a great place for sight-seeing and nightlife. But if you venture just two hours outside of the city into Virginia, you will find a wine drinkers’ wonderland.

Not much of a wine drinker, I still enjoyed the silence, open air landscape and peaceful sunsets overlooking the hills.

The long mellow hallways of vineyards lined Sharp Rock Vineyard in Sperryville and offered up breezy day trip.

Bringing friends along made the adventure easy for car pooling and a great way to maintain the human connection amidst our digital world.
