Last week over 40 people took one step closer to the health revolution at the 2nd Annual
Your Body-Your Life at the Hillcrest Recreation Center.

We packed the room with a diverse group of dedicated and energetic yoga participants.

We left the room filled with sweat and filled ourselves with determination.
Yoga is not only about our personal lives but about sharing the power of change within our community. Representatives from Heal Our Hood, DC Central Kitchen, Greater DC Cares were on hand to share health information.
Your Body-Your Life is a way for health conscious DC residents to gather and find their inner power to change health in their communities. I left the event feeling inspired and energized to expand our network of active yogis!
Thank you to Torey Hollingsworth, Karli Hurlebaus, Juneous Pettijohn, Takeyah Young, Sia Tiambi, Henry Moton, Kim Mcphereson and the US Office of Women’s Health.
